The purpose of this memo is to communicate that effective December 1, 2016, the GM Protection Plan (GMPP) program will be discontinued for sale in every state. Plans sold up through November 30, 2016 should be submitted as soon as possible. Plans with a purchase date of December 1, 2016 or later will not be accepted. For all GMPP contracts sold up through November 30, 2016, there will be no impact on the ongoing policy administration and claims processes that are currently in place today. GM's Order Workbench application will remain open for GMPP submissions through January 31, 2017. After this date, eligible GMPP Contract Registrations should be mailed to Ally Auto Dealer Products & Services, P.O. Box 6855, Chicago, Illinois 60680-6855 for processing. Reynolds and Reynolds and CDK Dealer Service providers will no longer provide GMPP forms effective December 1, 2016. Additionally, all GMPP forms will be removed from the Ally eStore as of that date. Note: The Mechanical Repair Protection (MRP) 3/3 Powertrain Limited Warranty and MRP Enhanced Limited Warranty (3/3, 6/6, 12/12) products will not be discontinued until March 31, 2017. This will provide time for dealers still selling these products to convert to the Ally Limited Warranty products. If you have any questions regarding this communication, please contact your Account Executive. Thank you for your patronage of the GM Protection Plan product.
