Question to any 2014 Cruze owners:
My 2014 Cruze has developed a fuel/emissions odor/smell over the past few months. It now has 80K Km. (50K mi) on it. I have taken it into the dealer, who changed the PCV recently, some seals for the coolant system and oil pan. They even changed the filters but the smell still penetrates the interior. Sometimes I need to open the windows, not nice in the winter. It seems to be worst when I have the heat turned up full and the fan at 3 or higher. Has anyone else experienced this issue or have any ideas on a fix?

All I can really say is sniff/look around under the hood with it running. Could be from 100 different places, but start around the exhaust manifold area.

A busted check valve in the intake manifold for the PCV system can cause oil leakage at turbo air hoses that can then drip onto hot things. There have been several leaking oil coolers, cam seals, turbo oil feed lines...an exhaust leak...a coolant leak...
