Its close to middle of the engine, just get it up in the air you will see it. The filter is close to the drain plug.
oil change info 1.4 turbo
Does anyone have any glitch on how to change the oil on a 2017 1.4 turbo Cruze? I will have to jack the vehicle as the front ground effects/air dam are too low to drive it up on the ramps. Where is the screw on filter located? It may be completely evident once I get under there but I'd like some advanced knowledge before I take this on. I have the oil and filter, just need to get it done. I'm just seeking knowledge on "where" the filter is located. I can get it off and on with no issues as I've done hundreds of oil changes.

Thanks, that's what I needed to know.
I'd be surprised if you really couldn't get it up on ramps, but I just changed my oil on Saturday; there is absolutely no reason for concern, just change your oil like any other car.
