Hey all. One of the selling points of the Cruze was the ability to hook up my iPod and have all my playlists and very well organized music library at the touch of a button. I'm using an older iPod Touch and connected through the USB port so it stays powered. Any time I use it, the only thing I can do is play a playlist. I can't browse by artist or song because it's syncing. Does the syncing ever end, or does it start over every time I connect to the device?

That's what I'm using, an older iPod Touch. I believe 2nd generation? It works just fine. I can load playlists from the MyLink system. However, it NEVER stops indexing, and tells me I can't browse by artist, song, or genre until it's done. And I think it starts over every time I shut off the car. One of the biggest selling features to me, and it's completely worthless. Luckily I have two older iPhones and a really old iPod classic that I can try and see if they work better.

Added thought, the Owner's Manual and the Navigation Manual that came with my car both list the specific iDevices that are supported (i.e. tested) by the manufacturer. I have seen people complaining that a certain iDevice doesn't work and it's usually not listed in the book(s). Don't know what your books say, but it's worth checking.

I plugged an old iPod touch into the USB port in my car and was surprised to see the iPod's screens come up on the Navi screen and the iPod was showing the Honda logo that displays on the car screens when you start the car.
