You need to talk to a lawyer in your country. This is a legal question that we most likely won't be able to answer.

Hope those steep fines means less red light running accidents. I'd look into getting a rental or borrowing a car for 2 weeks.

Are you stopping in the wrong place(beyond the white line just before crosswalk) or failing to come to a complete stop before making a right turn? Either way you might be w/o a car but go to a lawyer 1st and make sure they have free consultation so you aren't locked into a price the minute you walk in the door.

Bro, its no use of lawyer coz then i will end up paying him huge amount then. I just went in the yellow light which might have turned red even b4 me reaching the other end of the road.

Its bad you know, this neva happened to me b4, whose ever evil eyes are on my cruze, he may also have a bad time.

My Mom is willing to pay that much, but im kind of really felling like its too bad for this to happen, full night i was worried & BP is also not normal now.

Sounds like DC and the flash at yellow cameras. Most people buy 30 day tags to get around those things. Sucks as when I was in Qatar I barely saw a light. It was a bunch of roundabouts and traffic cops in the middle of them.

I think paying the fine is a better option than getting your car impounded. Be careful next time when you drive.
I tend to agree - no telling what damage will occur during impound and I can guarantee the impound lot won't cover any damages.

It was unfortunate that you misjudged the signal timing, but I believe you will make sure you don't get caught in future and therefore you will be safer because of this experience. I don't know if you celebrate Christmas over there but happy Christmas anyway.

Damm, im screwed, there is a black point system here, wherein if 24 is crossed your license is cancelled, & you cannot drive a vehicle then. Mine is 12 points.
Whats the lifetime of these points? Do they fall off with age?

As far as I am concerned, those 9/11 accomplished their goals anyway, taking away our freedom! With a small town with only two policeman on duty per shift, increased that to over a dozen with nothing to so except issue traffic violations. Issued so many tickets, city had to elect a judge.

And of all guys, an attorney I previously reported to the state bar for lying on his invoice, but they don't handle cases like this. Didn't even hire this SOB, his buddy crooked judge appointed him without my permission as a guardian to one of my kids during my divorce. Reported that judge as well. So drive extremely carefully in town, sure don't want to face this guy on the wrong side of the bench.

Then making Canada a foreign country and adding over a million square feet to that Toronto terminal for security. We had many divisions in Canada, and instead of a very relaxing trip coming home, had to wait in line for four hours to have my underwear checked.

Daughter-in-law was stopped by a "nice" cop driving through a small one horse town with a 25 mph speed limit, was well out of that town like a half a mile still a 25 mph zone and saw a 55 mph speed limit sign ahead and hit the gas. She was stopped for doing 46 mph out in the sticks that would be 21 mph over the limit. 20 points for this offense and would have lost her drivers' license for a year, so he wrote down 44 mph instead. Still had to pay a huge fine.

Before 9/11 live a block and a half from a county road with a 55 mph speed limit, dropped that to a 35 and now have to drive an extra two miles before it hits 55 again. Six blocks from a state road that use to be a 55, DOT made that two lane road a four lane road with mercury lights every 200 feet and dropped the speed to 45 for an additional 5 miles. But does go back to a dangerous two lane road where the limit does go back to 55.

Surprised this whole country doesn't rebel. Are we sheep? Wife is tired of me saying, oh boy, there is a cop ahead to protect us, like heck he is, there to hang us. Latest change in the law is with a burnt out tail light, now have the right to search and seize if stopped.

Ha, do I need performance? The way things are going could get by, by dropping in my 160 CC lawn mower engine in my Cruze.

I'm at work so I can't post the video of The Stig racing a Honda riding mower.

And then, at least here, is your insurance company. For my under 25 year old stepdaughter getting two speeding tickets in the same month, one doing 6 miles over the limit other for doing 7 mph over the limit. My insurance company increased her rates by $1,628.00 per year. Just told her, time to get your own insurance.

Yeah, I know, I am terrible.

If those were on the open road it's time to change insurance completely. If they were in town with lower speed limits ...

Were in town for her, but ended up changing insurance companies anyway. Have a combined policy, home and auto. For some odd reason, existing insurance company had a lot of hail stone damage claims, found one that didn't.

Just received my next years bill from my new insurance company, total rates increased by four bucks. Won't argue this, will just pay it. Zero claims.
