I'm parting out a 2011 cruze LT that was hit in the front drivers side, but I'm keeping the motor and trans to swap into something else. What other cars use the 1.8 ecoboost motor? What about the automatic transmission? Thanks a lot for any help! And send me a message if you need a part!

Thanks for the heads up. I'm not sure where I got got LT from. I just checked the car, and is is an LS with the 1.8 engine. I was reading that it's possible to swap the 1.8 into an 09 or newer Aveo, but can't find anyone that has actually done it.

But then you'd still be driving an Aveo, with slightly more, but still not much power.

Yes, VERY true. They are ugly little things. But if I can get one for cheap, and the swap works, then it's worth the trouble. Plus, the aveos are roughly 500 pounds lighter than the cruzes, and the 1.8 makes roughly 30 HP more than the aveo motor, so it could end up being pretty peppy.
