I’ve seen someone post about this before but still never heard back or any info. I’ve changed thermostats twice. New converter, new temp gauges with correct ones in the correct spots. Cleaned throttle body and maf sensors. New reservoir tank. New return coolant line. New valve cover. New coil strip and spark plugs. I keep overheating only when I get to 50 mph otherwise runs great and fast. Only time this happened before was a stuck thermostat. Now I’m getting white smoke and water out of the exhaust, I did recently change to smaller front converter Off the turbo other one had broken honeycombs. Could the new thermostat be stuck again? Or do I have a blow head gasket ? My oil is not milky. I haven’t lost coolant. It may bubble slightly ? Haven’t checked it when it’s up to temp with cap off only what I see from cap on when pressurized. I have changed coolant out completely and put in the required GM prestone. I’ve already cleaned up the little orange check valve by the intake manifold and does get dirty and brown often like gunk So ….
1. could this be happening from the new thermostat stuck again?
2. could this be blown head gasket
3. Could this be air pocket in the coolant System?
hopefully someone with this exact issue respondsor any extra advice or comment is appreciative, this is a complete headache I bought it used and it’s been a nightmare since I bought because the guy had it with stuck thermostat.
