P 0500

After replacing the rear rotors & pads on my 2013 Cruze I now have a P0500 speed sensor code. That code indicates an ABS/Stabilitrac issue. I had supported the caliper during repair to prevent damaging anything, but now am at a loss for what caused this. Any thoughts if this is a cord/sensor issue or do i need to replace the hub?

Neither the hub or the sensor cord was removed when I replaced the rotors and pads so all should still be intact. I am putting it back on a lift saturday and will check the connections. I recall reading that the sensor cord can be tested. I have a replacement for it already, but skipped buying a new hub until I'm sure that is the issue. Thanks
