Installed the PCV bypass worked great for a couple of days. Now the slipping belt sound is came back. At first just when it was idling now more often. Any thoughts.

Welcome Aboard!(y)

Sounds like the front seal needs to be replaced. I would upload a video of the noise so others can chime in though.

Don't forget to introduce yourself and your Cruze here.

After 130K and two valve covers, one manifold and two belt tensioners, your best bet is to check the tensioners and all the pulleys using the stethoscope/rubber tube method. The only sound that I couldn’t distinguish between the valve cover was the tensioner, but all the rotary inputs are suspect until you isolate the sound. I’d start at the tensioner. Look for erratic movement or excessive vibration. Hope that helps
