With the miles you drive it would make way more sense to have the ECO manual gearing for better highway MPG. No the Eco doesn't handle poorly but there is a slight edge having the zlink in the rear. If you look at the zlink its pretty much just a fancy swaybar & doesn't really change the actual suspension much at all.

Also, how long do the Eco tires last? I'm wondering if they wear out quick.

I bought a 1LT with 16in tires, I needed to replace them by 35,000 miles. From the reports I have seen on here I would have saved money buying the ECO, since their tires are easily going 50,000 miles.
