Guessing there may be some truth about tire replacement also. I've got 46k on mine and they will easily go past 50K by the time I replace them after summer is over. Road noise for the Eco is acceptable at the worst and quite honestly pretty good especially vs. others in it's class that I've driven (focus, dart,).
