So we moved from Colorado to Arizona I unloaded 1.4 Cruze LT turbo RS and turned it on. Power steering light came on. Since then I have:
  • tested the battery it is good
  • pulled all fuses to see in one is blow
  • replaced the main fuse to the power steering pump “fuse is 80amp on top of battery”
  • removed negative battery cable and replaced
  • checked wires for chewing
  • checked all plugs for condensation
  • -replaced power steering pump
Still reads service power steering on dash. Car has 89000 miles on it wiring seems simple and straightforward but I can’t figured this out. The dealer says might be computer problem but can’t se how it eaven connects to the computer. Help me it’s driving me nuts.

I don’t think the Cruze has a pump. It’s all electronic.

Have you scanned the car for codes? Power steering light can turn on if the encoder ring signal get blocked or distorted.

also when you replaced the control module did you center the steering angle sensor and calibrate the endstop limitations?
