Proud New Cruze Owner

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to post and introduce myself as the proud owner of a new 2017 Chevrolet Cruze LT. :)

My car is an automatic, (don't judge me just yet! I've been driving manual for the last 5 years or so, and the deal on this car was just too good to pass up. :p,) in the Red Hot color. The technology introduced on this iteration of the Cruze, along with the price I got it for out of the door, ($13k,) literally left nothing on the market that I was more interested in purchasing.

Just as a quick background into my last few cars: I recently traded in my 2016 Fiesta ST (Full bolt ons, including Mountune's GT2554R turbo kit,) to purchase this car as we needed more space, (and I wanted something still potentially fun to modify :p) Prior to that, I owned a 2008 Mustang GT (another full bolt ons car,) a 2004 Mustang GT, a 2001 Audi TT and a 2004 Grand Prix GTP. Needless to say, the only thing I've been left hankering for since stepping into my Cruze is more power.

I plan on purchasing a tune through BNR along with a few other bolt on goodies (intake, VTA BPV, catted downpipe if I can find one for the 2017, cat back and an intercooler,) but also wanted to see how our aftermarket is looking for the Gen 2? I know ZZP is a pretty solid dealer for anything GM related, but the Gen 2 just seems to be new enough where the RND isn't quite there yet.

Also, I'm going to be poking people with a stick to get their thoughts on an adapter to mate up Garrett's G25-550 when it hits the market - that turbo seems like it might be perfect for our cars. Just a thought.

Thanks!

Anyways! I'm located just south of Pennsylvania in the Hunt Valley area of Maryland! We have a lot of spring/summer car shows down here, so if you're in town and want to grab coffee and hit up a meet, just let me know. :) Hopefully by then I'll have at least a few bolt ons.

Welcome and congrats on the new car. Definitely sounds like a deal too good to pass up. I may have reconsidered my 2013 LT/RS for that! Sounds like you got some good ideas about what you want to do with it.

I just looked it up and you're close to Motor Week's home town at least from what I hear about when I happen to watch. They list an address in Owens Mills MD?

Oh trust me, I was shocked that the deal was that good! Especially considering how comfortable, quiet, and accommodating the car is - I got a turbocharged engine, and what equates to Navigation (Android Auto being a base feature now,) for practically pennies. I couldn't have done better.

Owings Mills is right up the road! I didn't know that was their headquarters. That's pretty awesome. Admittedly, I've only lived in the area a couple of years now, but I'm excited to check out their HQ sometime!

Welcome!

Lots of great deals out there on ‘17’s but yours was amazing. That’s what I paid in March for a ‘14 diesel with 63K miles. Granted, apples to oranges, but still...$14K for a new car? Can’t go wrong for sure.

Congratulations and Happy Cruzin’

I just did a search on the Cockeysville, MD and the first thing it brought up was other nearby towns and one was Owens Mills MD and I thought I know that place and heard MD mentioned many times on the show!
So I drilled down further and............

There are a couple of shows about the Cruze:
