Hey Guys,
Just wanted to post and introduce myself as the proud owner of a new 2017 Chevrolet Cruze LT.
My car is an automatic, (don't judge me just yet! I've been driving manual for the last 5 years or so, and the deal on this car was just too good to pass up.
,) in the Red Hot color. The technology introduced on this iteration of the Cruze, along with the price I got it for out of the door, ($13k,) literally left nothing on the market that I was more interested in purchasing.
Just as a quick background into my last few cars: I recently traded in my 2016 Fiesta ST (Full bolt ons, including Mountune's GT2554R turbo kit,) to purchase this car as we needed more space, (and I wanted something still potentially fun to modify
) Prior to that, I owned a 2008 Mustang GT (another full bolt ons car,) a 2004 Mustang GT, a 2001 Audi TT and a 2004 Grand Prix GTP. Needless to say, the only thing I've been left hankering for since stepping into my Cruze is more power.
I plan on purchasing a tune through BNR along with a few other bolt on goodies (intake, VTA BPV, catted downpipe if I can find one for the 2017, cat back and an intercooler,) but also wanted to see how our aftermarket is looking for the Gen 2? I know ZZP is a pretty solid dealer for anything GM related, but the Gen 2 just seems to be new enough where the RND isn't quite there yet.
Also, I'm going to be poking people with a stick to get their thoughts on an adapter to mate up Garrett's G25-550 when it hits the market - that turbo seems like it might be perfect for our cars. Just a thought.
Thanks!
Anyways! I'm located just south of Pennsylvania in the Hunt Valley area of Maryland! We have a lot of spring/summer car shows down here, so if you're in town and want to grab coffee and hit up a meet, just let me know.
Hopefully by then I'll have at least a few bolt ons.
