Cruze has different remotes, depending upon whether you have remote start or not.
I have one of the not type, open the key, in that slot gently pry it apart to remove half of the case cover and can see a standard 2032 battery.
OE one in it was no name, Made in India, wherever that is. Hardly lasted a year, I spent a little extra and put in a Duracell, going strong practically on four years now. So for me cheaper to buy a more expensive battery, than a bunch of cheaper ones.
Not sure what the remote start remote uses if you have one of those. Somebody else here may have one. But is a lot easier to replace these batteries than in some digital watches held in by super tiny little screws.
