Thanks Cuda! I've been waiting to see some official #'s from the Eco.
I'm sure those other ones were not the Eco model. The Eco was introduced late, all the tests i've read about until now were other models. The Eco is about 150-250 lbs lighter than other models and has better aerodynamics, thats pretty substantial...Ditto, I've seen so many different ones, most hovering around 9.
I thought i read somewhere the Eco had only a different 6th gear and 1-5 were the same as the other models? Anyone have this info on hand???This is the stuff I have been reading concerning the Cruze's times:
"In Edmunds testing, a Cruze LTZ accelerated from zero to 60 mph in 9.6 seconds".
"The manual-transmission model should take around 10 seconds to 60 mph, due to its taller ratios ".
"Chevrolet predicts the longest zero-to-60 mph time for the turbo engine at 10 seconds in the manual Eco trim level, which is tuned for efficiency. Other versions shave another second or more".
Looks like the ECO is really underrated.
...Eco M6 has totally different gearings than 1.8L M6, ie: http://www.cruzetalk.com/forum/10-c...ssion/335-cruze-transmission-axle-ratios.html
