I have a Chevy Cruze 2014, with 99676 miles that had a issue with water coming in on the passenger side right under the air bag. The following day I noticed that the radio was off and the turn signal is silent but the car still drive.
I am suspecting that the water issue might be due to the black cover ( picture attached) that might need to be sealed? Any thoughts concerning the radio issue?

Try to open and check the instrument fuse panel located located in the instrument panel on the driver side, back under the cover to the left of the steering wheel. Check for any wet, wipe and dry any traces of water. check or replace the fuse number 4. if it works, fix the root cause of the water leak. Maybe a bad windshield seal or something.

I did the continuity test on the fuse 4 & 5, they are good, fuse 4 is a 20A and fuse5 is a 7.5A.
I am contemplating to go with an aftermarket radio( touch screen Android 11,...). Does the radio require to be reprogram for the VIN?

Dude, my dude. Ohh my man pic #4 that little flapper thing is the windshield cowling drain / if you park under a tree a leaf n dirt collector.

Gentle pressure or inserting a slotted screw driver with gentle pressure to tension the little plastic pivot tabs back to remove the cap.

Door chime, alerts and warnings all work through the radio via the drivers side door speaker.
