I didn't know that
I didn't know thatGood morning everyone,
This is a very known issue with this model. The manufacturer warranty of course expired last year, and the extended warranty the dealership I bought it from scammed me into doesn't cover any part of the radio.
Thank you in advance.
I've never seen a Cruze with a radio issue, and I work at a Chevy dealer. Fortunately, that battery cable is not related to the radio. It is the negative ground for the battery, which happens to supply power to the whole electrical system. Having that cable go bad can have all kinds of things go wonky, but GM added a special coverage on it so you shouldn't have to pay. There is a special coverage for the negative battery cable, and multiple reviews online of consumers having the same issue I've had.
