So I have a basic code reader I have used for years, but I do not see where to connect it on my ECO, SHould I feel stupid I dont see it or is this normal ??

I'm afraid it is. It is under the dash enough that it can be difficult to see when sitting in the seat.

I usually sleep down there. Found it the first night

If its not there at first glance, someone on the forum found it tucked up higher in the dash. Factory didn't clip it into the holder i guess.
