Okay I may have posted here too soon, I found what they're for....but why wouldn't they have been there before? Are they maybe showing up by mistake?
Thanks, I don't think I have any coolant issues...but my stereo sometimes will stop playing my iPhone and it seems to only happen at certain times IE taking off quickly and hitting a bump, or taking a corner sharp and quickly (but not every time) but anytime it happens I'm doing one of those things....could that possibly be related to the negative cable?14311 refers to the special policy extended coverage for the negative battery cable......no action required unless your car displays certain electrical concerns.
14371 refers to coolant loss......the dealer is to top off the surge tank to specification and perform a visual inspection for coolant leak points.
This is/was considered a recall but more of a 'At your Convenience' type thing unless you are continually adding coolant......this should be integrated with any other service you have the dealer perform.

Certainly possible.....anytime something electrical goes wonky on the Cruze my first thought would be along the lines of high resistance at the cable. Thanks, I don't think I have any coolant issues...but my stereo sometimes will stop playing my iPhone and it seems to only happen at certain times IE taking off quickly and hitting a bump, or taking a corner sharp and quickly (but not every time) but anytime it happens I'm doing one of those things....could that possibly be related to the negative cable?
I may mention it to my dealer then, it hasn't blacked out, just stops playing my phone like I unplugged it, and I have to physically unplug it and plug it back in. One time I had to turn the car totally off and back on before it recognized it again. And I know there's no corrosion as I frequently disconnect the battery, but every time I reconnect it it's very snug, so not quite sure. I'll have them check it out next time I'm in I guess.Certainly possible.....anytime something electrical goes wonky on the Cruze my first thought would be along the lines of high resistance at the cable.
Has the radio screen ever blanked out for a moment?
That is a sure sign of resistance......btw, do a visual on the terminals for excessive corrosion (will look like a green science project growing under the cover)......that can do this as well.
