Considering you did not tell us what you have already, I suggest you start here:

Then after you finish that mod:

That should get you a much better multimedia experience or if your daring, install an iPad and write a tutorial on how to do it for us.

+1 on the MyLink Upgrade. It may look tough but, I just did it a few months ago, its not as bad as you think. Cheaper than aftermarket because you dont have to have all the modules for SW control, door chime and everything else. Plus you get to keep all your OEM stuff....

There are several people who have great info on this, or I can help you out if you need.
