The car is probably low on coolant. Check the overflow tank, it should be about half full. Make sure to use 50/50 Dexcool, do not use a universal coolant. When the car is low on coolant one of the first things affected is the heater core, no coolant in the heater core equals no hot air in the car.

If I recall GM programs the car remote start to turn off at 10min mark due to safety concerns. That aside that’s odd, mine if I leave I on X fan setting it’s running during remote start. Mine stopped however when the compressor went bad
