Ok i know that it is against the law in the USA to do this for emission control purposes.
Here in South Africa we dont have that strict laws on emission control.
What all must be done to ECM and or o2 sensors to avoid engine light coming on if the cat is removed
Is there a by pass procedure available for the down stream 02 sensor that avoids error codes

ok I thought it would be an easy remedy but i think i was wrong.

no luck engine light stays on ....

ZZP sells an angled o2 bung that goes in line with your downstream o2 sensor and turns off the engine light. You will suffer poor gas mileage though. Otherwise, you would need an ECM tune.
have you had the same with your 1.8.
did you remove the cat and installed the zzp bung ?
Hunterderjunge's comment still stands for the 1.8
TUNE .......... WHERE CAN I GET A COPY OF THE SOFTWARE ?
