Does anyone else agree the iPod scroll function lacks? On my way home tonight it took me about 3 minutes of constant scrolling to get to the 'S' in the artist part of my list, granted I have 9700+ songs. I didn't get the luxury of the 'fast scroll' of whatever you want to call it. I went through each and every artist - one by one. Upon finally selecting the artist and then album, the iPod decided to switch to the radio, which it does every now and then. It automatically switched back to iPod and I had to repeat the process all over again. I got within 2 artists from the one I wanted and the fast scroll thing kicked in, starting from the A's. Lovely. Does this annoy anyone else? How about the fact that the Play/Pause button does not work for the iPod ( at least for the 2011)? I drove all the way home without selecting the artist I wanted to hear. Sorry for the rant. I just think the software should be update to all the Cruzes that have the crappy software.

You can touch in the scroll bar section to immediately jump through a large portion of your list. It's not perfect and could really use a lot of work but it will significantly cut down on the time you spend trying to get to a specific artist.

Also, I have a really old iPod Classic 80 GB and am able to pause whenever I want.

Pause works just fine on my 160gb classic.

Also, just spin the dial faster and you will activate the fast scroll right from the get-go and can just straight to your desired letter.

Yeah I have the same problem, as for the scrolling at least. It doesn't matter if I go fast or slow it decides when it wants me to have the quick scroll not me

You CAN update the USB compatibility with your car, which should solve the USB issue. 2011 Cruzes were most likely released with an earlier PDIM with DB/DB or lower HW/FW.

I can scroll as fast as my fingers will go and I can get half way through my artists before the fast scroll kicks in. Other times I am looking for an artist in the A's and fast scroll kicks in when I don't want it to. No rhyme or reason to it. And I really don't feel like buying the PDIM for bluetooth streaming. All of my music is on my 80GB classic. Oh well.
