How about the fact that the Play/Pause button does not work for the iPod ( at least for the 2011)? I drove all the way home without selecting the artist I wanted to hear. Sorry for the rant. I just think the software should be update to all the Cruzes that have the crappy software.

You CAN update the USB compatibility with your car, which should solve the USB issue. 2011 Cruzes were most likely released with an earlier PDIM with DB/DB or lower HW/FW.
