As stated in the title, today, I have had my Cruze Clean Turbo Diesel for one year. I have put 9,000 miles on the car. Today, I also got to spend some time at the dealer, as my check engine light came on 2 days ago. P0133, so my father replaced the O2 sensor and performed the ECU reprogram along with the fuel trim reset. The sensor was completely and utterly soot covered (I didn't think to snap a pic). Hopefully this is a one off thing but I am on the forums here actively, so I am not holding my breath. My car isn't the only one my dad had to perform this on, he said the other has not come back yet. He insists I have to start beating it, something I never do. While the car was plugged in we also reprogrammed the HVAC module to solve the buzzing after the car is shut off when the A/C has been on, and activated afterblow. Moving on, I love the car so far, and this has been my only issue. The car has had one oil change and one DEF top off (with the oil change), and I haven't put more than 20 tanks of fuel in it. I use PowerService DieselKleen in it every tank as well. My mileage is in the low 30s on a regular basis, upper 40s on highway runs (42.2 today in a short rural highway run). My car doesn't get driven in the highway much, but I do try to go out of my way to get some highway time on it from time to time. I can't really think of anything I strongly dislike about it, and I do love driving it, but I am glad I have my dad and brother to work on it, along with their GM information access to learn about it, because it is a rare and tricky beast.
Additions to the car:
GM Accessory splash guards
GM Accessory door trim sill plates
GM Accessory all weather floor mats and trunk mat
GM Accessory license plate frames
Plan on adding GM fog lights when I replace my non-matching headlights.
