Hi all,

Cruze 1.6 LS Manual 12000km

It has happened a couple of time since the car was new when turning sharply into a parking clutch in so car is "idling" the engine would just cut off.

It is probably because I turn the steering wheel to it's max, has anyone else experienced this?

Regards

I saw two posts on the Buick Regal forums that detailed the same sort of problem. I suspect that it is something to do with Deceleration Fuel Cut Off (DFCO). It may be that occaisionally the ECU "forgets" to turn the injectors back on and the engine dies.

Thank you.

My car is going in for the first service in 3000 km so will have it checked out.

I also need to have the clutch checked out as when you in traffic and the car rolls forward and you release the clutch it shutters, not always but quite regularly.
