So last night I went to start my car and it would crank, but not start. After a few tries, it finally started up, but then immediately died out. I kept starting it and letting it die and it eventually stayed running when I gave it a little bit of gas. I don’t have to continue to give it gas to keep it running, once i give it the initial bit of gas pedal, it stays running. It continues to have a rough idle until it’s warmed up. My friend suggested that it could be a security feature called the “cruise immobilizer” and I’ve never heard of that. Can someone help me out? I have an OBDII that can read live data if that helps.

Well, I'd start with two likely suspects. First the battery, it might be on the edge of being good enough to run the car. If you still have the original battery your looking at a 6-7 years on it, if so many don't make it that long.
If the battery is good, next check to see if you are getting spark.

Both are pretty easy to check, give them a try and give an update.
