I purchased the new and one of the last 2019 Chevy Cruze's in Feb of 2019. I have read about previous issues about the ticking sound coming from the lower end of the steering column. I myself have this issue as well as a friend of mine who just bought the LT last week. Mine is the LT D2 version with with RS package. The D2 version is based on my VIN number. The first time I had the ticking sound was less than a month after getting the Cruze. I took it into the dealer here in Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada and they told me that thw rubber boot covering the steering column was dislogged. They so-called re arranged the boot and greased it up.

Two months later the ticking noise which sounds like a baseball card attached to a bicycle wheel is back. Mostly when cold. Not noticable once driving. Does anyone have any Ideas. Thanks in advance, Viper.
