So I installed a catch can over the winter to catch blow by getting down stream to the intercooler and for general benefit of operation. Since installed, it has not caught a drop. The added length of line in the pcv system (my guess) has somehow eliminated it. I lose no oil at all. Could it be creating a bit, just enough, more vacuum in the crankcase to pull the oil faster to the sump and create better ring seal? IDK…just thought I’d share that.

I did however do that around the same time I did the oil pump seal.
Coincidence?

I know a catch can needs two things.
Vacuum and a filter media to catch the oil.
Years ago I didn't put a filter media in my race cars catch can and it didnt do schit.

Steel wool?
