Low oil pressure on startup?

What is your oil level like? When was the last time it and your filter were changed?

My 2014 equinox made the same type of noise when the dealer put in dino oil and my mom wanted to wait till the OCI dropped to 0%. I changed the oil and started putting in mobil 1 and it hasn't made the noise since. Not sure if it could be the same thing

It sounds like a sympathetic vibration to me. There was a known problem with lines attached to the firewall that would vibrate under certain circumstances. I'd like to hear what it sounds like in the engine compartment.

Our Toyota does that, and so does the GM 2.4 Ecotec at times. It's the VVT camshaft phaser.

Should be covered under powertrain warranty.
