Strange Noises!

I know it's probably been answered befor but being a newbie I have trouble navigating the site for old threads...

I just picked up an 2012 Autumn LTZ. It makes a suckling sound when I accelerate. It sounds like it comes from the glove box area. I'm assuming it must come from the air quality system. Any definitive answers? I also have a KN Typhoon cold air intake. Can this cause extra noise? Any way to reduce the annoying noise?

Thanks!

...or is it the turbo and blow-off valve that I hear?
Its the turbo you hear, the only way to make it quiet is to put the stock intake back in place. GM did a really good job at making a quiet intake for this car, only thing an aftermarket intake does is add noise.

and maybe a little better miles per gallon if you can keep your foot off the pedal because you like hearing that whoosh sound so much  I definitely noticed better throttle response from a dead stop with an aftermarket intake ... and I'm pretty sure it wasn't just my "butt dyno" making that determination.
With extremely strict EPA regulations, all they can play with is the air cleaner and cat back exhaust, and all you get is noise, easy way to part with around a 1,000 bucks.

Cruze did add a lot of sound damping material that for me is good stuff. so why throwaway hard earned money to defeat this.
This used LTZ came with the Typhoon. I don't need the noise. I'll look around on Craigslist to try to find the stock air cleaner kit. Anyone looking for a Typhoon intake?
