I am getting a lot of attention with 'Lucy'. I work beside a Hyundai dealership, and I have had 2 employees of Hyundai stop me and ask me questions about the Cruze, and tell me how much they like it.

This morning I stopped in to my regular gas station/coffee stop and the attendant asked me a number of questions about my car, and told me how much he liked it.

And then there are the people in the cars next to me who double take at the site of the Cruze, then always seem to turn their focus to the rims.

She's finally done with all her 'extras', which seem to help. Tint, emblem overlays, side marker overlays.. Oh, even got personalized plates. I had a car accident with my G5 and the trailer hitch of the Tribute I hit punched through my plate and someone was nice enough to point out to me that Lucy would never look good with that on it.. So instead of new number plates, I thought she deserved personalized ones :D

So how about you? Have people been stopping you and asking about your Cruze? So far in my experience, it is a head turner!

I have noticed a few people staring at the car as we are driving...and my neighbour made a comment about it when I brought it home the first night....I think people aren't sure what it is...so yeah I agree it's turning heads!!

I was asked what car I had when I gave my keys to a cashier at Kroger to scan my card. A guy at a gas station asked me how the car was, and some kid in my apartment complex asked me if it was the new Malibu. Does anyone else think the side of the car looks sorta like a BMW? Maybe it's the way the lines of the rear doors cut down diagonal and not stick out over the rear wheel like some rear doors. Just my inference.

I dont own a cruze, but as im driving or walking and i see Cruzes pass by me, i notice a lot people tend to look at the Cruze. The side profile does look like a BMW, Benz, Lexus....just something luxurious.

When someone decides to modify a Cruze and do it really clean, it will turn a lot more heads.

Also remember the Cruze is a NEW car, how much times have to stopped to look at something cause it was new or something you never seen before

I don't know that I've noticed any strangers admiring my car, and I've still only seen a few on the road. I'm waiting to pass one, especially an ECO, and throw them a special Cruze wave (perhaps the still hilarious shocker?:D).

I did come out of Walmart on my 3rd day of ownership at 6:30 am to see another Cruze Eco amongst the few cars in the parking lot.:)

Hey what tint do you have? 20 percent all the way around? I'm stuck on either getting 20 or 35

I took my grandmother to visit my grandfather in the hospital on mothers day in my cruze and the older black lady who was her caretaker for the day was like, this is a really nice car what kinda car is it and i told her it was a chevy she was like "Sheeeeeeeeiit dat dont look like no chevy i ever seen" Needless to say I was amused.

She was also impressed that it was reasonably priced and can get 42mpg on the highway.

I get completmented on it all the time. People are amazed that its a chevy and when I tell them the price they cant believe it. I always notice people staring at it when Im in the parking lot and theres people around. I think it looks almost like a new Mercedes C300 from the side.

I am surprised that I have not seen more Cruze's on the road. I live in a very touristy area and thought that the rental car companies would have gobbled these cars up as they did with Cobalts and Cavaliers.

However I have been asked twice about what kind of car I was driving. Neither person that asked believed that it was a Chevy. They said it looked more german/european made than an American car.

Yeah, I've had many people ask me what car that is. I tell them it's a Chevrolet Cruze and they usually respond with "That's a chevy?!" Yup! :D
I've had people ask me many questions about it, or just people telling me it's a really nice car.

its the new kid on the block. expect a lot of looks. not too many people while recognize it and a lot will even mistake it for a malibu. it looks pretty good for a chevy sedan. even i was surprised it was a chevy when i first found out about it.

Yeah, that was the case for a while, but they are popping up around here like weeds. Fortunately, it seems that its all elderly people driving one, so when people see mine with the overlays, window tint, and smoked side markers, they still tend to take a look.

I'm one of the few in my area to have bought the Cruze, I thought I would have started noticing more and more of them now that I am driving one. Nope not yet, surprising because any other time, I always started to see more of whatever car i was driving on the road. I hope the cruze continues to sell well, but I also want to continue to be one of the few to be driving this wonderful car around, because I get a lot of looks too.

GM is steering away from the Rental market. It's not a profitable market. As of late 2009, GM had 19% in the rental market compared to Chrysler and Fords' 25% and 23% respectively. GM had held the highest share of the rental market until 2009. I believe the goal is less than 10% in rentals.
