Throttle valve
I know there’s a lot of throttle valve and egr threads out there but never found what I was looking for. Plan on taking my valve out to give her a cleaning, but has anyone gotten rid of the actual blade in the Throttle valve? I know in my past duramaxs when the emissions would fall off I could delete it completely.

I guess just to make easier to clean and less area to get caked up in the futureCurious as to why you would want to remove it?
I'm guessing it would throw a code. Could be wrong but the motor would keep spinning maybe?? I believe it is a limit switch.I guess just to make easier to clean and less area to get caked up in the future

Wasn't nearly as bad as I was thinking it would be.
I was thinking the same. Was gonna take out the blade since it’s disconnected anyway but couldn’t figure out the size of the bolts, seem to be between t10-t15. Unless it’s a diff type of bolt.Wasn't nearly as bad as I was thinking it would be.
