Had a sony dvd nav system installed in my 2013 eco cruze. Installer used axxexx gmos-044. Top touchscreen does not lite up. Installer said to get top touchscreen to lite up I would have to use gmos-045, Is this right Would adding ASWC help the problem THANKS.

If you are using RCAs for signal to an external amp and have run all new speaker wire from the amp to all speakers. Do you have to hook up the high level speaker input to the radio from the harness? If you do what are some reasons why? I don't mind not having door chimes, is there any other reasons why?

Chimes are to alert you that something is wrong. It might be doors, it might be something more serious.
