I had my 2011 LTZ in the shop last January (2016) due to issues with the motor. Turned out to be the Turbo needed to be replaced, along with a few other things I believe. Now, 13 months later, my vehicle started to not accelerate and became full of smoke. Had it towed to the shop and they are telling me that the Turbo has gone bad and the engine needs to be replaced. A used motor is going to be $5000, with a new motor at $7300. I've contacted GM (Case#8-2794930663) but they said it will be 24-48 hours until I hear anything.. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm curious how the turbo went out last year, and now it needs to be replaced this year along with the motor. I wonder how much damage was already done last year when the turbo went bad? They didn't have to replace the motor that time...

Dissapointed in my Cruze..
