Had a check engine light and fan come on. Fan originally just would run when in idle but eventually ran all the time once car was started. The car runs fine, no poor performance, no visible leaks as of yet. Took it to be inspected and it had numerous codes. P0238, 1101, 1128, 1120, 2227, 121, 236 and 237. Also P00C7. I was told the turbocharger is bad and leaking excessive oil. Also the hose and sensor need to be replaced.

What should I expect to be charged for a new turbocharger? Supposedly the labor is for 3.5 hours plus sensor and hose. Any help/info on this is much appreciated. I've had to sink some money into this car recently and I am questioning when "enough is enough". Current mileage is 33,500.

Thanks!

From the dealer or a private mechanic? I would say like $2000 from dealer, maybe 30-40% less from local mechanic.
