Turn steering wheel too fast and the radio + climate controls + PS cut off.

When turning into my garage I have to do a quick turn of the wheel to get in without crashing into the wall.

When I did this today, as the title states the radio, climate controls and power steering all basically 'died' and come back on 2-5 seconds later.

No trouble lights come on after this.

I can recreate the issue if I quickly turn the wheel in park.

Assuming I should take to the dealership, but without any trouble codes not sure if I'm going to get looked at like I'm insane, or simply told to not turn in such a quick manner. But in the chance of a panic turn to avoid a crash, or what have you, having the power steering die can't be safe.

Any one heard of this issue?

The Cruze has electrical power steering assist. Since it's only happening when you turn fast or turn when stopped (dry steering the tires) it sounds like not enough power is able to get to the steering assist to get those wheels moving as those 2 situations will require the most power. I'm no electrical expert so that's just my uneducated opinion. It definitely should not be doing that though. Take it in to your dealer and they'll be able to handle it appropriately.
The usual starting point for electrical problems is to have the negative battery cable replaced. A sharp turn at low speed is going to demand a bunch of power from the battery. A bad cable could be an issue. Depending on the age of the battery, a weak battery could be on the list as well. Many seem to find the original battery dies around 3 years.

Edit: Dang, I forgot the link. http://www.cruzetalk.com/forum/25-g...al-coverage-14311-negative-battery-cable.html
Read 'Special coverage 14311.

Your description matches the bulletin.

This is a 10 year warranty extension.....mention the 14311 to your dealer.

It sounds like the negative battery cable is your culprit. Though, as someone else said, it could be caused by a dying battery. But I'd put my money on the battery cable.

Start with the battery cable.
