Upgraded Deck but no sound now

Hey everyone, I have a 2011 Chevy Cruze LTZ, I recently bought a after market deck from a friend and installed it, deck turns on but I have no sound throughout the entire car, nothing through the speakers chimes included. I do have the upgraded Pioneer system (I didn't know this forum existed when I purchased the car) and someone told me that it may be the AMP that is causing the built in AMP that the Deck has to not work together.. I'm not much of a car or audio guy so that's the best way I can explain it. I tried going through the forum and searching for some help but I can't seem to find a solution, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

Sounds more like a downgrade to me!! LOL

Jokes aside, did you use the proper wiring harness for an aftermarket deck? I believe the pioneer amp needs to be completely bypassed when hooking up different decks, but not quite sure, if that's NOT true it could be that some wires somewhere are messed up and connected in the wrong place.
We need to know exactly what Head Unit you replaced the stock H . U . With ?

Was this a Plug and Play offering from another individual or Online store ?
