I have a 2013 rhd (sold new in the UK) 1.8 auto cruze wagon. The air vents blow hot on the passenger (left) side, and ambient temperature on the drivers (right) side. Is it a big deal to get to the vent doors, or should I be looking for door control modules?.

First, check your coolant level. Low coolant could cause only one side of the heater to get hot.

At least the US Cruze is a dual zone system shared with the Buick, but "cheapened" to a single zone system by having the door(s) run by a single motor/controller. You'd need to check the mechanicals to see what's going on. It's not going to be a module.

Thanks Chevyguy. Where do I get to the mechanical bits? I should have said the left side blows hot when the heat control is turned to cold. My 1998 Park Avenue has a similar problem, but getting to it is a nightmare. I hope the Cruze system is more accesible.
