Very "notchy" shifting.

After taking off the CDV on my Cruze, it actually shifts worse than when it was on. Each gear doesn't go in smoothly without feeling a little 'notchy' except 5th, 6th and reverse gears. Is this normal?

Not quick shifting, just normal, everyday shifting. I've been wanting to change the fluid to Amsoil, so that may be in the works soon.

I'm also working on an clutch line accumulator bypass, which will further improve shifting and clutch feel.

I'm thinking I will be switching mine to amsoil when I'm due or notice any notchiness. Haven't had any problems since I changed it unless really cold like today...9 degrees lol
Get some AMS oil in your transmission, it works wonders.
I've used Redline oil for both my transmission oil changes. No complaints and works well in cold weather.
