Every now and then the audio controls on the steering wheel take ages to respond. Has any one else had this issue there is like a 3 to 4 second delay

Vol and skip up and down were kinda like that I usualy end up just using the radio buttons themselves. I was hoping a radio update would fix this.

Yea is this a known issue it seems to happin after about 20 mins of driving

Is this with the radio or with an AUX device. The only time I have any delays from the steering wheel is when I'm starting my Android's music player via the Bluetooth PDIM.

It does it on radio or aux after the car has been off for awhile its normal again

Reg radio, cd, xm, pandora and most pronounced on ipod/usb. I have the car set to lowest vol when turned on so I have to go a great distance to turn it back up to audible levels. Pressing vol up is a waste of time vs turning the knob.

What happens when you press and hold the steering wheel volume up/down controls? I have noticed that a single press does very little, but pressing and holding will quickly change the volume.

Still the same just a huge delay even when changing channels its slow but sometimes its fine

This may be a bad switch in the steering wheel. That's not normal. If you're under your B2B warranty I'd take it in and demonstrate this to your service advisor. Since your car works both normally and abnormally try to demonstrate the difference.
