For model year 2015 and earlier it's 100,000/5Y, for 2016 both Limited and New GEN2 it's 5Y/60K.

For your 2012 LS it's 5 years/100K miles from the date and mileage at first consumer purchase. Basically if it had 43 miles on the odometer the Power Train warranty will expire at 100,043 miles.
Just had a new trans put in my 12 LS. 3rd and 4th bearings were making a whining noise.

New trans installed at 80,000. Whining noise (bearings) in 2nd when decelerating.

With the new warranty at 60,000 for 2016's+ I'm now very concerned for future purchase.

Buick doesn't make the Verano anymore and after paying for a few aftermarket plans and either fighting for coverage or never using it, not worth the cost.
