Say I have a repair done by a Chevy dealer in New Jersey. 2 year parts and labor warranty.

If that part fails in, say, Arizona, would a Chevy dealer there honor the 2 year parts and labor warranty?

Thanks. The reason for the question was the last time I was at my dealer ( oil change turned into a water pump relacement) I asked if the computer (service) system the dealer had was just "here'...or nation-wide The reply was "just here"..

Of you're paying for the work, you'll need to save your receipts. Even through the warranty is nationwide, you have to prove when it was done and what part was used.

Are you still under the manufacturers warranty?

At 75,000 miles, I think the drivetrain warranty(goes at 100,000?)....and the 2 year repair for the water pump and the coolant reservoir..
