Hey guys, did not know exactly how to word the title. But, as it says, while driving and resting my foot on the floor mat I will brake and I suddenly feel something hit the back of my foot. It feels like a water bottle or something hitting my heel. The only problem is, there is nothing under the seat. I moved my foot further up away from the seat and you can still feel it. It is the weirdest thing.

Does anyone have experience with this? It is starting to drive me nuts.

Clearly the answer is your car is haunted.

That's a very odd feeling to have, does it happen in anything you drive? If so, then your foot is haunted, not the car.

Just a shot in the dark but there's a thick plastic backing on the backside of your carpet. It may have a slight crease in it to where it's popping up and down or back and forth when the weight of your foot is slightly transferred. Picture a sealed up water bottle and your trying to pop a dent out of it.
