Post what you did to er and maybe even a picture to accompany it.

Today I just washed it and did a quick wax job. It was pretty dirty from about 5 commutes to work!

Hhmm, I'm still confused. The key will still open the door without power. Do you have keyless ignition?
I bought the car used, came with one key fob that the mechanic had at the time. and two aftermarket keyless fobs from a possible auto starter (manual transmission so no auto start / never worked).

Keyless fobs just needed the car to have power to do their thing.

That makes much more sense. I was thinking factory all the way.

I spent about 30 minutes cussing the idiot bean counter that decided a pressurized plastic reservoir for the coolant burp tank was a good idea. Then I ordered a new tank to replace the currently leaky one.

I spent a lot of time thinking about my Cruze locked up in he garage feeling lonely and forlorn, with junk encroaching on her space and the growing pile of parts boxes threatening to fall over.

My Camaro is used partially as a shelf, but it's not like I'm worried about scratching the surface rust or anything (and the roof is mostly glass anyway). The Cobalt finally got a car cover for winter this year. Bought one for the Camaro too, but since it's apart, I didn't put it on.

Cut out a kinked section of fuel line and used a 3/8" compression fitting. Throttle is much better clutching out and above 3500rpm

Replaced the cracked coolant recovery tank with a new Dorman one. Hopefully that one lasts a few years...

The shift cable grommet behind the accelerator pedal. A plastic plug, with a felt backing and a rubber seal. Capable of running two 4awg power wires. I would like to get my inverter and amplifier/subwoofer in the car this weekend. Running through the grommet, under the console, below the carpet and under the rear seat cushion.

Replaced the MAP sensor this afternoon...which conveniently snapped off in the intake manifold and I had to work out the remaining bit (which had the O-ring) with a pick tool and a lot of swearing. To further annoy me, the piece fell down the back of the engine somewhere, so I didn't even get to see how filthy it was, though the view from above was caked with soot, so probably like that.

Won't be really able to tell if this improves the fuel economy since I also took off the winter wheels/tires today and it is supposed to warm up quite a bit next week, so many different factors there!

I started cleaning grounds and connections around the battery, trying to track down why I'm getting the 'service stabilitrack', 'service ABS' and code U0074. I'm beginning to think GM may have hired a Chrysler electrical engineer...

Thanks for the links, I've already replace the ground cables, cleaned everything. I'm not getting the radio cutting out, just no communication on "B" side (at least, I'm getting the U0074 code for that). So can anyone point me to the connections for that CAN bus cabling? I'm pretty sure I've got a wonky connection, just gotta find it.
Potential causes for this code to set are:

Open in the "B" CAN bus + circuit
Open in the "B" CAN bus - circuit
Short to power in either "B" CAN bus circuit
Short to ground in either "B" CAN bus circuit
Rarely - faulty control module

GM, but not for a Cruze, but may be of some help in trouble shooting

Got the tint done on the Cruze before picking my wife up from the airport - didn't go as dark as the Volt (which is 20 front/15 rear - did 35 front/20 rear, as my wife doesn't need any assistance not seeing at night), but still plenty dark to be noticeable and look awesome - and should be a huge benefit while sitting in the driveway.

Pics are in the sun, so the sides obviously don't look as dark.

Attempted to replace the license plate bulbs today. Screws are rotted so already I have 30 minutes invested into what should have been a 5-10 minute job. When I get back to it I will have few more hours invested in it. **** ing General Motors saving 5 cents with carbon steel screws on an application that should have been stainless

I was looking forward to taking the snow tires off this coming Friday, but winter decided it's not done with us yet. The good news is I broke my snowplow, so I don't have to plow the snow after this coming snowstorm.
