Unless they can show you a legal, as in law that says they can't provide a loaner, they are required to do so. This is part of your warranty. A dealership can always pull a car of their used car lot as a loaner if they can't get a rental for you.Well, I took it to the dealer and they want to keep it overnight, they have no idea what's going on and they can't replicate it. They supposedly can't give me a loaner because I'm 19, so I got no ride to college and work tomorrow which is ridiculous.
Thought buying a newer car would've kept this from happening, but guess not.
So this basically means that GM is unable to comply with their own warranty requirements.Regarding rental/loaners.
If you are not yet 25yo it ain't gonna happen......dealer insurance carriers won't even allow porters under 25 to drive dealer owned cars.
Rental companies follow the same guidelines.
