Saw video of a guy do this but a Lexus removes a ECU chip & flashes with ponyprog.

What chip has the keys data for 2014 Cruze?

I'm not sure as anyone has dug into their computers that deeply. I'm thinking it's more likely in the BCM instead of the ECM as the BCM controls other functions like lock/unlock.

I think you'd be better of using a scan tool that can clear them out. If you botch one of your computers, you're out a few hundred dollars at least.

I just did a Cyber Monday order on a scan tool that says it can do it. Search Amazon for "2022 Elite LAUNCH X431 GM Full System Bi-Directional Scan Tool".
