Like XR said, it depends on where you are and what specs your diesel has. The US diesel will have 266 lb/ft of torque. I'm too tired and lazy to convert that into kw nm/ ps or any other measurement. But I'm confident the diesel would outlast the gasoline engine. The torque alone would make it the car to buy for me. Having that much torque available would be amazing. I had 1.3 million miles (2,100,000 km) on my Freightliner when I drove truck about 16 years ago. Still drove like new.
