Look up how to bake headlights to open them, they'll open up that way unlike the factory headlamps.

There is only the projector shrouds and the turn signal housing. I hope you don't plan on painting the turn signal. You will render it pretty much useless and you'll only have a bunch of tiny amber dots flashing with no daylight visibility!

It looks like the shrouds may be chrome. That may be what he is referring to?

Yeah i wanna paint the shrout in black and maybe the flasher chrome piece. Its like somebody with the retrofit all black
