Time to replace! The rubber is hanging off!

Not sure if there's a question there or not, but I recommend PIAA for non-winter times.
It's full on winter time here in Michigan. Was kinda thinking about Rain-X blades? I'd like to get something similar to OEM.

Worst blades I've ever bought. Expensive, streaked out of the box, and didn't last very long.

Mine are starting to show signs that they need to be changed as well. The Rain-X blades I got didn't justify the price. I was thinking of going with Bosch Icon.

I have had Walmart brand wipers last >1 year and sometimes <1 month, but for $5 it's worth the risk. For my DD, I will shop for winter blades that are on sale and then remove them at the end of the season for next winter and go back to crap blades to soak up the sun.
Valeo 900 series is the only brand I'll use. RockAuto has good prices.

Can confirm.

I love Bosch Icons.

This is true all the way around. Bosch Icons from Menards, about $10 a piece.

Question though, it seems the passenger one could be 1" longer and still be fine and get a wider area, that little sliver in the middle bottom misses is annoying

Same here. On my sonic not only that, they did not fit properly either. Trico blades I bought were 1000X better for the same money.
Ok so I bought a pair of BOCSH Icons and I can't get them on! I used a book to determine what sizes I needed... 24a drivers side and 18a for passenger side.

Try a bit of Vaseline on the sides of the hook. It might take a little force but it should go on.

Just go test drive a new Cruze and swap them out. ok...ok...I'm joking.

I've never been unhappy with Trico.
Back in September, I ordered RockAuto clearance special wiper blades for the Cruze. 8 wiper blades for $20.11 shipped. I put on my first pair about a week ago, curious to see how long they'll last. I had to re-use the old mounting retainers.

Just push a little harder, it won't break. I also have the Bosch Icons and will never buy another brand ever again they're that good. I've had mine on for about 26 months now and still no streaking!
I bought Silicone rubber refills for my oem wiper frames off of eBay. They're really cheap at $1-$8 for 2 delivered. Strangely, The Cruze has two different widths of refill. One side is 6mm and the other side is 8mm. The all come from China or the Philippines, and I couldn't find both sizes from one store. I also had to be careful to get refills that have a molded socket so the refill clipped into the frame without the use of clips. They are sold as bus wipers, and are 26" or 28" long. I just cut them to length with scissors. I'm really happy with how they work in weather above 40F. Below that they seem to get stiff and don't follow the contour of the windshield. We'll see how they hold up.
My OEM blades fell apart at about 2 years. Replaced them with Bosch Icons. They've been on for a year and they still work great. I also think they look a lot better then the OEM blades. They have a very clean, modern look.

So, question for both of you - through the winter months - assuming you park outside - how do the Icons perform? I usually replace my PIAA blades in the beginning of November with free after rebate blades from Menards. I have some Rain-X blades on now.

It would be nice to not have to exchange them twice a year even though I really like my PIAA's

I don't experience snow, ice or frost where I live, so my results may be different. The Winter months are the rainy months here, and they have performed excellently so far. I installed them mid-Winter last year. I always park my car outside in the driveway.
